11 Jul Hiring: G3 Gas Technician
THE POSITION:
Gas Plus is currently seeking a G3 Gas Technician or Labourer looking to gain experience in residential HVAC and work towards gaining a G2 Gas Technician License. Successful candidates will work with experienced, licensed G2 techs and assist with installation, maintenance and service, as well as light duties around our shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist lead hands throughout the day on HVAC installs & service
- Keep trucks and shop organized and clean
- Work independently on tasks at jobsite and shop
- Adhere to site-specific health and safety protocols
- Have a positive professional attitude, and be motivated to meet company & customer standards and timelines
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- G3 Gas Fitter License is an asset
- Must have: Valid G Driver’s License (clean record)
- Must be: Very Punctual and Reliable, and able to work 40 – 44 hours / week + overtime
- Must have: Good problem solving and mechanical skills
- Must be: Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Must be: Able to handle a physical workload
