11 Jul Hiring: G2 Gas Fitter
THE POSITION:
Gas Plus is currently seeking a G2 Gas Fitter with experience as a residential installer or service technician. The successful candidate will mainly install / service HVAC equipment such as Fireplaces, Furnaces and Air Conditioners. Having a 308A Sheet Metal Worker or 313D Residential Air Conditioning Mechanic license is an asset!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to install complete custom residential HVAC equipment
- Keep accurate records and provide reports electronically to administration
- Maintain all required licenses and paperwork
- Adhere to site-specific health and safety protocols
- Have a positive professional attitude, and be motivated to meet company & customer standard and timelines
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have: G2 Gas Fitter License … Experience is an asset
- Must have: Valid G Driver’s License (clean record)
- Must be: Very Punctual and Reliable, and able to work 40 – 44 hours / week + overtime
- Must be: Able to work with minimal supervision and have strong problem-solving skills
- Must have: Good aptitude with tablet & electronics
- Must be: Able to handle a physical workload
- Must be: Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
